Giving Special learners the tools for ‘life’

We provide school district CBI, Community Based Instruction, experiences and  welcome organizations who support special learners.

Our innovative technology center is designed to provide continuing technology education and experiences in a community based learning environment.

Individuals who learn differently best benefit from repeated exposure and useful practice of technology skills to assist them in the technology based world we all live in today.

                                      

Our program is ‘center based’ so students have the opportunity to train on devices used during daily activities to enhance their technology skills, understanding of connectivity and internet navigation for discovering and mastering content.

Our mobile device lab teaches the incorporation of apps to support skill development, organizational strategies and internet accessibility for successful web based learning to maximize the potential for independent living and acceptance.

Essential skills learned include attention to task, time management, stamina, working independently and proper social interaction when working with others.

Also, development is underway for the over 21 year old individuals to continue to work on technology essential for life and job skill success.
